Parish Calendar
Mahalo Charles and Agnes
On Sunday, August 14, parishioners Charles and Agnes Lopes were recognized at a pot luck luncheon at their home for their many years of service to the Kula Catholic Community. They have for many years made the famous Holy Ghost Sweet Bread and sold it for the benefit of the church as well as serving in many other ways, including chairman of the Holy Ghost Feast for many years and cleaning and decorating Holy Ghost Mission.

In attendance were Fr. Bruno Genilla, who presented a Certificate of Appreciation from the parish through the Pastoral Council, as well as many former and current bread ladies and friends, who presented them with a placque made by John Otto with messages of thanks from many past and present bread ladies.
A Hui Hou Keone

Keone Hurdle, a parishioner leaving for seminary in Guam, was given a warm send off in May with a pot luck following mass at Holy Ghost Mission. Our best wishes and prayers go with this young man who has grown up in our church.
Welcome Fr. Bruno

On December 31 we welcomed Fr. Bruno Genilla as our new permanent pastor/administrator and wished Fr. Clarence well in his new assignment at St. Anthonys in Kailua on Oahu.
